Our next year will not be gray
Staying ahead of the sales competition is not only desirable, but also necessary. If you come second, you get a warm hand and nice words, while the competitor gets to serve your ideal customer. When this happens often enough, suddenly the coming year starts to look a little gray.
In the spring, we read in the papers that autumn is gray. Now we have heard similar comments about the coming year. We want to be involved in breaking this negative cycle - our future is not gray and we want to do everything we can to ensure that your future is not gray either.
So, to meet the growing need for comprehensive and results-oriented sales training for new salespeople, we have created an intensive training program of just under three months, designed to give you or your team member the tools needed to succeed in the ever-changing and more demanding world of sales.
How did the Seller's tune come about
In August, we were spending joint partner days with the people of More Than Training Company, and while talking there, we found that many sales trainings and sales coaching programs are far too generic. Same thing for all people regardless of experience. Thus, Joshua and I concluded that this is the kind of place where we can work naturally quite differently from our colleagues in the industry - we have long-term managers to help experienced sellers with their language and ways, and we younger people to help those who have just graduated from school and who have moved from other roles to become sellers.
The end result was the decision to go together with Joshua to create a new world sales training program, which was called Mýjyätti viritus. As a companion to this, a Salesperson's refresher is also implemented for those more experienced sales specialists - more on this later (spoilers!).
What is in our sales training program
Our sales training program, built from everyday life and the reality of new sellers, runs from February to April 2024, including 3.5 effective days of immersive learning and practical application. Here's a sneak peek at what to expect in the program:
- Prospecting and contacting: identify potential new customers and learn the art of effective approach.
- Meeting preparation and meeting: find ways to prepare effectively and ways to carry out the meeting in a value-producing way.
- Tender processing and tender presentation: internalize the elements of a winning offer and the means of communicating them in a way that the customer values
- Closing the deal: train together tools for negotiation and communication, which ensure successful commercial cooperation for all parties
- Customer management, key customer work and summary: understand the secrets of long-term and satisfied customers and verbally crystallize the whole program with the coaches to make everyday life.
What is in our sales training program
With so many options available, you might be wondering what sets our coaching program apart from the rest. We understand your thinking very well - that's why we set out to create our own sales training program.
In short:
- Content targeted at a precisely defined group: The whole is designed so that the group consists of people who are at the same stage of their sales career. Therefore, our program deals with issues in ways that even people at the very beginning of their careers can easily internalize.
- A practical approach: The participant is allowed to expect an immersive and practical learning experience that gives concrete skills that can be immediately applied in their everyday life. So not a cloud over the top and numb theory sheets, but genuine training of everyday skills.
- Networking opportunities: Wisdom, not stupidity, condenses in this crowd. In addition to the coaches' guidance, learning takes place from the insights of others in a similar situation, so that lessons can be connected even more to everyday life, and at the same time, extensive networks are created to support the growth of expertise and commercial potential in the future as well.
- Personality: We are all individuals, so the program is adjusted to suit the group according to the people involved even during the program. For us, each participant is really a person and not just that one name on the participant list.
- Permanent change: This program is not a booster shot, a hand waving exercise or a nice break from everyday life, but a step towards permanently better sales professionals. In reality, therefore, you don't buy coaching from us, but change - and we promise to deliver that as well.
